1.   A cruise is a great way to revitalize your spirit and give you a boost.
2.   Look for discounted or promotional rates during off-peak seasons.
3.   Always book early for best value and ample time for special requirements consideration.
4.   For the fun of it, a two-way walkie-talkie is a great way to keep in touch with your friends and family members       while on board a huge boat.
5.   Don't leave your valuables out in the cabin. Always keep them locked in your luggage or ask for a safe.
6.   The staff on board your boat have been on the cruise a lot of times. Ask the stewards and waiters for any info that       you may require.
7.   The luggage comes onboard at roughly the same time for everybody. Don't panic if your luggage isn't in your cabin       when you arrive. It may take some time to get to your room.
8.   You may wish to carry the deck plan with you. Take a walk, get to know the boat's layout and learn how to reach       your cabin from the main stairways.
9.   Report cabin issues immediately. Know who you have to report to in advance.

14. You are not obligated to take an organised shore excursion. Consider exploring on your own for places that
     you wish to personally visit yourself. Get all the necessary information beforehand so as to be prepared for all       circumstances.
15. Remember to check your boat's policy if you intend to explore on your own as you may not be covered by your       ship's insurance.
16. Life aboard a cruise boat is generally laid-back and casual. Make sure to pack comfortable clothes.
17. Most boats have powerful air conditioning. A handy item would be a sweater or a sweartshirt.
